Cynhalwyd ein pedwaredd gynhadledd ar 23-25 Tachwedd ym Mhrifysgol Cymru Y Drindod Dewi Sant yn Llambed.

Roeddem yn falch iawn o fod yn gweithio gyda Chanolfan Tir Glas newydd Y Drindod Dewi Sant, sy’n arloesi gyda dull newydd o ymdrin â chydnerthedd lleol.

Siaradwyr a sesiynau

Dydd Mercher / Wednesday: Sheila Dillon

Roedd yn bleser i groesawu’n siaradwyr gwadd: Sheila Dillon, The Food Programme, BBC Radio 4 (Dydd Mercher); ac Alun Elidyr, ffermwr a chyflwynydd “Ffermio” mewn sgwrs â’r darlledwr ac awdur, Jon Gower (Dydd Iau).  Roedd rhaglen llawn dop gennym gan gynnwys sesiynau ar brydau ysgol, iechyd y pridd, mynediad i dir, tlodi, a hadau.  Dyma’r amserlen:

A dyma’r rhaglen lawn i’w argraffu:

Nos Fercher – swper ac adloniant

Trefnwyd noson o fwyd a cherddoriaeth ar nos Fercher 23 Tachwedd yn neuadd fwyta adeilad 1822 ar gampws Llambed. Cafodd bryd lleol dau gwrs ei weini, a buodd Sam Robinson gyflwyno darnau o’i farddoniaeth yn ystod swper. Dilynwyd hynny gyda chaneuon gan Camilla Saunders ac Owen Shiers o Gynefin.

Hefyd ar nos Fercher

Lansiodd RSPB Cymru ffilm fer newydd, “Ffermio gyda natur”.  Mae gan ffermio ran hanfodol i’w chwarae wrth helpu i fynd i’r afael â’r argyfyngau amgylcheddol sy’n ein hwynebu.

Ymweliadau maes – Dydd Gwener

Diolch i’n partneriaid, roedd amrywiaeth o deithiau maes ar gael at ffermydd a chynhyrchwyr bwyd a diod o ddiddordeb yn yr ardal.  Ewch i dudalen Ymweliadau maes Field visits 2022 am fwy o wybodaeth.

Ac mae mwy… “Gwledd o fyd natur”

Roedd y Brifysgol wedi paratoi detholiad o gyfrolau hanesyddol i ni. Rhan o gasgliadau arbennig y Brifysgol ydynt. Dyma fwy o wybodaeth…

Our fourth conference was held on 23-25 November at the University of Wales Trinity St David, in Lampeter

We were delighted to be working with UWTSD’s new Canolfan Tir Glas, which is pioneering a new approach to local resilience.

Speakers and sessions

We were pleased to welcome our guest speakers: Sheila Dillon from BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme (Wed); and Alun Elidyr, farmer and presenter of S4C’s Ffermio programme, in conversation with the broadcaster and author, Jon Gower (Thurs). We had a packed programme that included sessions on school meals, soil health, access to land, poverty, and seeds.

Wednesday evening – dinner and entertainment

An evening of food and music was arranged on Wednesday 23rd November in the dining hall of the 1822 building on Lampeter campus. A locally-sourced two-course meal was served, during which Sam Robinson presented some of his poetry. This was followed by songs from Camilla Saunders and Owen Shiers of Cynefin.

Also on Wednesday evening

RSPB Cymru launched their new short documentary, “Farming with nature”.  Farming has a vital role to play in helping tackle the environmental emergencies we face.  In the film, three farmers discuss their first-hand experiences of positive change, made to benefit nature.  After this, there was a chance to meet one of the farmers in a Question-and-Answer session.

Here is the film (on YouTube).

Field visits – Friday

Thanks to our partners, a variety of field trips to interesting farms and food and drink producers were available. Go to Ymweliadau maes Field visits 2022 for more information.

And there’s more… “A feast from nature”

The university had prepared an exhibition of a selection of historic volumes for us. They are part of the University’s special collections. Here is more information…
