Cawsom ymateb ysgubol i’r Gynhadledd Gwir Fwyd a Ffermio gyntaf a gynhaliwyd yng Nhymru.

Dros dau ddiwrnod wlyb a gwyntog ym mis Tachwedd, heidiodd yn agos i 300 o bobl o bob rhan o Gymru i Brifysgol Aberystwyth i drafod dyfodol amaeth a chynhyrchu bwyd cynaliadwy yng Nghymru.

Cafwyd 28 o sesiynau trafod bywiog, blaengar a buddiol ar amrywiaeth o bynciau, gan gynnwys amaeth cynaliadwy, bio-amrywiaeth, egni amgen, cymunedau cefn gwlad, dyfodol y sector amaeth, newid hinsawdd, oblygiadau Brexit, bragu, rheoli dŵr a diogelwch bwyd. Roedd yn gyfle heb ei ail i rannu syniadau ac ehangu gwybodaeth ac arfer da.  Bwriad y gynhadledd oedd adeiladu cynghreiriau traws-sector, cymryd agwedd gyfannol ar sut rydym yn tyfu bwyd, bwyta yn well a sicrhau bwyd da i bawb.

We had an overwhelming response to the first Wales Real Food and Farming conference.

Over two wet and windy November days, nearly 300 people from all over Wales flocked to Aberystwyth University to discuss the future of agriculture and sustainable food production in Wales.

Some 28 lively, innovative and informative discussion sessions were held on a variety of topics – sustainable agriculture, bio-diversity, alternative energy, rural communities, the future of the agriculture sector, climate change, the implications of Brexit, brewing, water management and food security. It was a great opportunity to share ideas, expand knowledge and good practice. The aim of the conference was to build cross-sector alliances, take a holistic approach to how we grow food, eat better and ensure good food for all.
