I nodi’r flwyddyn hon o drawsnewidiad yn gadarnhaol ar gyfer bwyd a ffermio yng Nghymru, pan lansiwyd sawl menter newydd sy’n hyrwyddo ffynonellau bwyd cynaliadwy a lleol, mae trefnwyr y Gynhadledd yn cynnal ‘swper cynhaeaf cynhadledd’ ar Fferm Bwlchwernen Fawr, mewn partneriaeth â Patrick a Becky Holden. Dyma gartref Caws Hafod, ac mae wedi’i leoli chwe milltir i’r gogledd o Lanbedr Pont Steffan.
Bydd y cogydd gwesteiwr ar gyfer y noson, Barny Haughton MBE, yn paratoi ac yn gweini pryd tri chwrs blasus yn ysgubor dyrnu Llaethdy Fferm Holden gyda’r rhan fwyaf o gynhwysion yn dod o ffermydd lleol.
Yn ystod y noson, bydd Patrick Holden yn cymedroli ‘trafodaeth ar ochr tân’ gyda dylanwadwyr blaenllaw ar flaen y gad yn y trawsnewidiad bwyd a ffermio, gyda chyfraniadau a chwestiynau gan bawb yn bresennol.

Food is an important part of the Conference – join us for lunch and a harvest supper! Booking information will be included in your Conference ticket confirmation email.
UPDATE: We have paid for a few extra lunches for delegates. So that as many people as possible can enjoy the great food on offer, we have kept lunch and dinner bookings open – and we thank Barny Haughton and the university catering team for their generosity with this.

Harvest supper at Holden Farm Dairy (20 Nov, 7.30pm)
To mark this year of positive transition for Welsh food and farming, during which several new initiatives have been launched promoting sustainable and local food sourcing, the Conference organisers are holding a ‘conference harvest supper’ at Bwlchwernen Fawr, in partnership with Patrick and Becky Holden. This is the home of Hafod Cheese, and is situated six miles north of Lampeter.
Host chef for the evening, Barny Haughton MBE, will prepare and serve a delicious three course meal in the Holden Farm Dairy threshing barn with most ingredients sourced from local farms.
During the evening, Patrick Holden will moderate a ‘fireside discussion’ with leading influencers at the forefront of the food and farming transition, with contributions and questions from all present welcome.

Holden Farm Dairy, (find us on Google maps), is situated 6 miles from Lampeter and is also the venue for the conference dinner on Weds 20th and a farm walk on Friday 22nd November. We have six rooms available, including: two wood panelled eco cabins with en suite facilities; stable house with double bedroom, kitchen and shower room; three wood-panelled bedrooms, all adjacent to the threshing barn, not en suite, but with shared shower room and toilet facilities.
